Monitoring and Evaluation
Monitoring is the continuous assessment of the progress and performance of a an activity while Evaluation is an evaluation of the impact of an activity and a formal recoding of the lessons learnt from that activity. Evaluation requires many different types of monitoring.
Soon as after establishing a presence in both Waangwaray (Waangwaray Baseline survey 2008/9 ) and Sinai we undertook a baseline survey of those communities to determine how they live their lives so that in time we can measure the changes that have taken place. It would be wrong to assume that the only reason for any changes are due to the actions of the Livingstone Tanzania Trust so we have to take care in identifying what can be attributes directly to our actions, what can be indirectly attributed to our activities and what has nothing to do with our actions at all.
Each of our projects are monitored and feedback provided to our donors
