Talapia fish pond

Lake Babati's stock of fish is being depleted by constant fishing despite the 6 month ban.

Our aim is to build fish ponds and then ask the fishermen to sell our fish rather than the fish in the Lake for the 6 months, that way the stocks can have a chance to develop and people can still get fresh fish.

Simple plans make the best plans.

So we asked our Jan/Feb Quest Volunteers to build the first of 4 ponds.
