The Livingstone Tanzania Trust is delighted to have partnered up with Beth and Mike from Inspire Worldwide on their Teacher Skills Exchange Program.
This program is the ultimate CPD opportunity for qualified teachers and offers them the opportunity to work with teachers in Babati to exchange ideas on different teaching techniques so that the teachers can improve the way the students learn and give them a better chance of learning and improving their opportunities later in life. Education is the key to poverty alleviation and having good teachers is vital.
The project is run, on the ground by Inspires Adult Education Facilitator to manage the technical elements of the programme and a qualified Expedition Leaders who manages trip logistics.

If you have a partner who would like to join you, but is not a qualified teacher, this is not a problem. We are always eager to have volunteers to work on the farm or help with ongoing school maintenance issues and are flexible to incorporate them in other ways.
