Trafalgar Infants

The Livingstone Tanzania Trust are working with the Trafalgar Infant School in Twickenham to raise awareness amongst their students of the lives of children in other countries. This is part of our campaign to promote the similarities between children and people the world over.

We are delighted to have this opportunity to bring a little of Tanzania to the young of Twickenham, many of whom want to come and visit.

In December 2009 the Community of Trafalgar raised a fantastic £351.50 which we used to buy and plant fruit trees around the Waangwaray Primary school AND buy text books for the students.

In December 2010 the Community raised another fantastic £350 which we will will use to promote the growing of vegetables which will in turn improve the diet and then improve the students ability to learn. The Keyhole Garden Scheme starts in the summer 2011
