If it was going to be a walk in the park where would your satisfaction come from? Coming away with the Livingstone Tanzania Trust is about experiencing new things, challenging yourself, your views and your perceptions. You can see new horizons on holiday but experiencing new horizons can only be achieved by immersing yourself in the local culture and being open minded and brave enough to soak it up. Don’t underestimate volunteering, it is a personal challenge and you have to be game for it. The more you put into the program the more you can expect to get back from it. Volunteering is not for everyone. But those who do it will cherish the memory for the rest of their lives. It not only refreshes the parts that holidays cannot reach, it puts your own life into perspective.
