Women and Girls

Women and girls are central pillars of their community. That is why we believe in their ability to be such powerful agents of change - whether that is improving education, decreasing hunger or generating income.

In order to fulfil this potential, more needs to be done to provide women and girls with the same opportunities as men and boys. And to achieve this, there must be more equitable treatment of both genders  - each according to their needs.

Achieving gender equality is not simply a 'women's issue'. We believe that men have the ability to play a hugely vital part in this process of change, as well as women themselves.
